Spring Cleaning Tip #1

It’s that time of year again. Here is the first of several posts on spring cleaning tips, most culled from Good Housekeeping, a great source. 

1. Use your dishwasher to wash items you might not get to regularly and might not think of washing in the dishwasher: hairbrushes, sponges, the dish tray and dish rack, pet dishes to name a few.

2. Wash your windows for a spring pick-me-up. Wash vertically on the inside and horizontally on the outside to be able to see streaks more easily.

3. Clean those door mats–both sides. Outside matts spray with a hose; inside ones, vacuum.
