Efficient cleaning: Order
Here's a tip from the www.speedcleaning.com people, who I've learned a great deal from on how to clean efficiently. There is an order to cleaning. In any one spot as you make your way around a room, start at the top and work down, and start at the back and work toward you (like on a countertop). This will make your cleaning more consistent and go faster.
Here's the first in a series of tips for cleaning your house efficiently. The first thing has to do with attitude. Try approaching the cleaning of your house as a meditation. Make sure you have a set amount of time and cut out distractions. Appreciate how the atmosphere in your home changes little by little as you tidy and clean.
